Lead Agronomist
Lewis leads the way for PCS as Lead Agronomist. He provides our team and customers with a wealth of agronomic knowledge along with proven field results. One his main objectives is developing tools and services for our growers that allow them to utilize their own farm data and knowledge to improve each acre.
Lewis grew up on a farm in northwest Ohio and has experience with corn, soybeans, wheat, hay, vegetable crops, and more. He received his bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and enjoys using his knowledge and experience to help other farmers succeed.

Data Operations Manager
Joe oversees the daily operations of our Data Team at PCS, coordinating with account managers to manage and analyze data for our customers. In addition to his team leadership, he manages a set of clients and services growers in the Wyandot County area.
Joe grew up on his family farm and surrounded by his dad’s seed business for over 45 years. Although he initially considered a career outside of agriculture, Joe later discovered his passion for the industry and was eager to continue the family legacy. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Systems Management from The Ohio State University in 2017 and has been part of the PCS team since his internship.
Joe resides in Upper Sandusky with his wife, Shannon, and their sons, Jett and Camp. A huge sports fan, Joe is always cheering for Ohio State and the Cleveland Guardians.

As the Customer Success Manager, Tom leads our sales team with a strong dedication to ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. He is committed to building lasting relationships with clients and also trains new account managers to do the same, fostering a culture of quality and care.
Tom grew up on a row crop grain farm and has been involved in the family farm his entire life. He was a member of FFA in high school and later earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from The Ohio State University.
Before joining PCS, Tom worked at an equipment dealership. He and his wife, Amanda, have two children, Jackson and Maggie, who help maintain their 6th-generation farm. In his free time, Tom enjoys supporting his kids as they show pigs competitively and watching the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Josh has been with PCS since 2019 as a Customer Account Manager. In this role, he works closely with growers to improve their operations, providing guidance on fertility, agronomic practices, seeding recommendations, and more. His strong relationships with growers ensure they can rely on both him and PCS for support. Josh also assists the PCS team with additional tasks, such as soil sampling when needed.
Growing up, Josh spent time on the farm with his grandpa and uncles, gradually becoming more involved. He remains active in the family crop farm today. Josh earned his associate’s degree from OSU ATI and his bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University. In his free time, he enjoys hunting and spending time with his wife, Sarah.

As an Account Manager, Garrett serves as a crop and technology consultant for his growers, helping them plan for each growing season. He focuses on providing solutions that are both agronomic and economical to achieve the best results.
Garrett began helping his grandpa on the farm at a young age and quickly realized his passion for agriculture. “It’s a passion of mine and a way of life that I wouldn’t trade for anything.” "He was a member of FFA at Fremont Ross High School earning his State and American Degrees, and later earned an associate’s degree in Agribusiness Management from Terra State in 2018. Garrett lives and farms in Sandusky County with his wife, Paige, and their dog, Zoey.
He continues to run the family farm as the 4th generation. Outside of work, Garrett is a member of the Lindsey Volunteer Fire Department and volunteers at the Sandusky and Seneca County Jr. Fair Livestock Sales. In his free time, he enjoys camping, golfing, and watching Ohio State football.

Ittai Baum

Ittai Baum
Software Developer and Data Scientist
Ittai serves as a Software Developer and Data Scientist at Progressive Crop Solutions. He is the lead developer of 21AG, PCS’s in-house agronomy platform that helps manage grower and field data while providing tools to create clear, data-driven recommendations. In his data science role, Ittai analyzes complex datasets to uncover how management practices and environmental factors impact yield, building models that improve yield predictions and strengthen agronomic recommendations for growers.
Ittai grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland, and developed an early interest in plant science while assisting his father, a plant biologist, with indoor plant experiments—learning firsthand about root, leaf, and flower development. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Brown University and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland.
Prior to joining PCS, Ittai worked at the National Geodetic Survey within NOAA, where he contributed to improving GPS satellite orbit accuracy and positioning algorithms. Outside of work, he enjoys playing jazz piano and rock music.

Taylor Baxter

Government Program and Communications Specialist
As the Government Program and Communications Specialist, Taylor works closely with each of our growers to understand their operations and help them determine which government programs will best meet their needs. She collaborates with agencies such as Soil and Water Conservation Districts, ODA, and NRCS on programs like H2Ohio and EQIP, while also assisting growers in organizing and submitting the necessary information for enrollment.
In addition to program coordination, Taylor leads communications and marketing efforts for PCS. She develops and manages content across multiple platforms, helps promote company initiatives and grower success stories, and ensures clear, consistent messaging both internally and externally. Her role bridges grower support with strategic communication, strengthening relationships and enhancing the visibility of PCS programs and services.
Taylor and her husband, Nick, reside in Richland County with their dogs, Cash and Koda. They farm row crops and hay in Crawford and Huron counties. A member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shelby, Ohio, Taylor plays guitar in the choir and coaches the girls' basketball team in the winter.
She was also an active member of FFA at Shelby High School, where she served as an officer and earned her American Degree. Taylor later went on to receive her associate's degree in agronomy from The Ohio State University. Taylor is also a licensed drone pilot and recently upgraded to airplanes, receiving her private pilot certification!

Kevin has been the Business Manager at Progressive Crop Solutions (PCS) since July 2022, leading daily operations and driving growth to better support customers. With over 20 years of agricultural experience, he has held key roles, including Integrated Solutions Manager at John Deere dealerships and Director of Technology at Heritage Cooperative.
Kevin’s passion for agriculture began on his grandfather’s farm and grew through 4-H and FFA, where he earned his American FFA Degree. Today, he continues that legacy by farming corn and soybeans with his family in Wyandot County.
Dedicated to helping farmers achieve long-term success, Kevin prides himself in delivering exceptional customer service. He earned his associate’s degree in applied science in John Deere Ag Sales from Lakeland College in 2003.

Alex has spent more than 15 years working in agriculture since graduating from The Ohio State University. At PCS, he plays a key behind-the-scenes role as the Lead Field Service Technician. Alex and his team ensure that all soil sampling units are fully serviced, maintained, and ready to perform when the season hits. If it runs, rolls, or needs rebuilt, Alex is probably the one behind it.
Outside of work, you can usually find Alex boating or fishing on Lake Erie, or spending time with his two dogs—Chloe, a coonhound–golden retriever mix, and Josie, an Australian shepherd. His technical expertise, steady leadership, and dedication make him an essential part of the PCS operation.

Treg is a key member of the PCS data team, where he helps collect, analyze, clean, and manage client data. He also plays an important role in writing, delivering, and loading prescription (Rx) files for customers.
Born and raised on his family farm, Treg values the challenges and opportunities that come with working in the agriculture industry. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Agricultural Systems Management. Before joining PCS, he spent three years with Findlay Implement Co. in ISG and an additional year and a half as a Precision Technology Specialist at Farmers Edge.
In his spare time, Treg enjoys cheering on Ohio State and the Cleveland Browns, powerlifting, hiking, and working on his classic car project. His technical skill set, ag background, and passion for continuous learning make him a strong asset to the PCS team.

Morgan has been serving as a Customer Account Manager at PCS since May of 2024. In this role, he works closely with growers on a daily basis, helping them optimize their operations through expert guidance on agronomic practices such as fertility management, seeding recommendations, and more. His focus is on building strong, dependable relationships with both his growers and PCS. Additionally, Morgan contributes to the team by assisting with soil sampling, scouting, and data management as needed.
Morgan grew up on a livestock and grain farm, where his family was deeply involved in raising commercial hogs and showing livestock competitively. He pursued a bachelor's degree in Agronomy from The Ohio State University to support both the family grain farm and other farmers. Outside of his work at PCS, Morgan and his family manage Price Livestock, specializing in selling competitive show pigs nationwide. In his free time, he enjoys working on the family grain farm and traveling across the country, observing livestock and crops.

Levi has been with PCS for five years, starting out on the soil sampling crew and eventually becoming the go-to guy for vehicle maintenance. He also assists in sampler maintenance, ensuring equipment is running reliably and efficiently throughout the year.
Levi grew up in Fremont, Ohio, where he continues to farm hay and straw. A proud FFA alum, he earned his American Degree—one of the organization’s highest honors—reflecting his deep roots in agriculture.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find Levi hanging out with his Black Lab, Bo, or catching a tractor pull. Around the shop, he’s known for being reliable, easygoing, and always willing to lend a hand.

Luke is an Account Manager at PCS, working closely with growers every day to help them optimize their operations. He provides expert guidance on agronomic practices, including fertility management, seeding recommendations, and more, giving his growers a trusted partner they can rely on.
Raised on his family’s diversified grain and livestock farm in West Mansfield, Ohio, Luke earned his bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Systems Management from The Ohio State University. With a background in ag sales and farm management, he combines practical experience with agronomy knowledge to help growers succeed.
Outside of work, Luke enjoys spending time with his wife, Cassidy, and their four young children. They operate a small row crop farm and plan to expand into livestock in the near future.

Sheriden Schuerman

Sheriden joined the PCS team in September 2025 as the Agronomy Training and Research Lead. In her role, she works to provide sound agronomic insights using both internal and external data. She develops training programs, creates reference materials on common agronomic topics and issues, and identifies research opportunities that generate valuable third-party data to directly benefit PCS growers.
Sheriden grew up on a grain farm in Pemberville, Ohio, where she was active in both 4-H and FFA throughout high school. She attended The Ohio State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a major in Plant Biosciences and minors in Agricultural Communication and Leadership Studies.
She currently resides in Pemberville with her fiancé, Owen, where they are renovating a family home. In her free time, Sheriden enjoys being active outdoors, cooking and baking new recipes, and hosting friends and family.

Dean is the Field Observations Lead at Progressive Crop Solutions, where he oversees and coordinates all field scouting efforts. With a strong eye for detail and a deep understanding of crop performance, Dean plays a key role in ensuring growers receive timely, accurate field insights throughout the season.
Dean has worked in agriculture since graduating from The Ohio State University in 2013 and is a Certified Crop Adviser (CCA), bringing both experience and professional accreditation to his role.
Originally from Old Fort, Ohio, Dean remains active on his family’s grain and vegetable farm, where they also raise cattle. In his free time, he enjoys watching college football and staying connected to the agricultural communities he serves.

Maddie Huston serves as an Account Coordinator at PCS, where she works closely with account managers to support growers' needs and deliver exceptional customer service. She plays a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and helping growers achieve their operational goals.
A native of Carey, Ohio, Maddie grew up on her family's trucking company and grain farm. In addition to raising row crops, her family operates a feedlot cattle operation and raises draft horses. Her agricultural roots run deep, and she was actively involved in both 4-H and FFA, exhibiting beef cattle through the Ohio Best program and competing at the county, state, and national levels.
Maddie earned an Associate Degree in Crop Management and Soil Conservation from The Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute. Her hands-on agricultural experience and passion for serving growers make her a valuable member of the PCS team. Outside of work, Maddie enjoys helping with the family farming operation, working with and raising draft horses, operating her small jewelry business, staying active, boating, and spending time with family and friends.

Hannah Wade was born and raised in Texas before moving to rural Indiana, where she graduated from Hamilton High School in a class of just 22 students. Her first job introduced her to agriculture on a small dairy farm, where she helped milk cows and assist with the care and delivery of calves.
As a Field Technician at Progressive Crop Solutions, Hannah spends much of her time in the field soil sampling and crop scouting. Her work helps ensure PCS and its growers have accurate, high-quality field data to support agronomic decisions.
Hannah currently lives in Genoa, Ohio, with her boyfriend, Grant. Together, they are beginning farmers, raising 13 acres of soybeans of their own. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys staying busy on the farm, helping with projects, and continuing to learn as they grow their operation.

Jade joined the PCS team in August of 2026 as a field technician. She works to provide field data for the team and growers. She is responsible for scouting and sampling acres of cropland while reporting instances of pests and disease.
Jade has always had a passion for nature and the outdoors. She grew up exploring the woods and prairies of her grandfather's land in Wyandot county. While attending high school she was involved in her local FFA chapter and 4-H group. Her many teachers and mentors urged her to pursue a career within her passion of environmental science.
She attended Maryville University earning a bachelor’s degree in environmental science. She later completed a GIS certification at Michigan State University. She was the intern for Hardin Soil and Water Conservation District in 2024. Jade lives in Upper Sandusky with her partner, Logan, and their many pets. Outside of work Jade likes to tend to her garden and house plants. She also enjoys reading novels and practicing yoga.

Ashley joins us with a strong background in agriculture, agronomy, and agricultural data. She grew up on her family’s grain and livestock farm in New Washington, Ohio, where she developed a strong passion for agriculture. Her agricultural roots run deep, and she was actively involved in both 4-H and FFA showing goats and dairy beef feeders and earning her American FFA Degree.
Ashley earned her B.S. in Agronomy from Wilmington College in 2020 and her M.S. in Agriculture from Illinois State University in 2025. During her graduate research, she studied the impact of selected winter cover crops on corn and soybean yield and seed quality indicators, as well as the economic returns of including cover crops in a corn-soybean crop rotation. She also has experience working with precision agriculture technology, grower data, field research, and agricultural outreach.
Prior to pursuing her M.S., Ashley spent a year and a half at Farmers Edge in a Client Success role and as a Carbon Data Analyst. In her new role at PCS as an Agriculture Data Technician, Ashley is working with agricultural data and technology to help support growers and the agronomy/sales team.
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with family, friends, and significant other Jake and staying connected to agriculture and her roots in Ohio.

Justin Good is a recent graduate of the University of Findlay, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration. While in school, he especially enjoyed his marketing and sales courses. Growing up in a family with backgrounds in farming and agricultural sales, Justin knew he wanted to follow in their footsteps and build a career in agriculture.
At PCS, Justin serves as a Field Support & Market Development Representative. His role changes with the seasons, combining hands-on fieldwork with building relationships with growers. During the spring and fall, Justin focuses primarily on soil sampling while continuing to learn from the PCS team. In the summer and winter, he shifts his focus to connecting with growers, introducing them to PCS, and helping them learn how our services can bring value to their operations.
Outside of work, Justin enjoys reading, playing cards, watching football, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
