Agronomist-Account Manager

We are searching for an energetic individual looking to join our growing team of progressive & forward-thinking agronomists. This position will oversee selling the PCS portfolio of services including agronomics, technology, and data analysis. Individuals must be competent in multiple levels of agronomy as well as technology and data analysis. Providing excellent customer service, building trusted relationships with growers, and maintaining a professional work environment will be key roles of this position. You will work daily with the PCS team providing collaborative team results to ensure growers excel with their goals.
Responsibilities:
- Properly set and maintain customer experience expectations and manage the tracking of customer services and needs.
- Help with agronomy support during planting and harvest seasons to ensure optimal execution of grower services.
- Make sales calls throughout your responsible geography to prospect new grower opportunities.
- Work with customer success manager to develop and maintain a list of customers and prospects and develop strategic growth goals.
- The sales process will include: On farm cold calls, follow up meetings, and collecting referrals

- Work with new accounts to assess their operational agronomic goals and determine the PCS services that will allow for optimal customer results.
- Collect customer feedback and report to leadership team with actionable items for future services
- Other potential responsibilities include but are not limited to: Soil Sampling, Data Entry, Crop Scouting, data analysis.
Experience:
- 2 to 5 years Agronomy or Crop Consulting experience preferred.
- Competent in MS Excel, MS Office, and comfortable with daily use of computers
- Precision Ag data technology experience a plus
Education: (Preferred but not required)
- Bachelor’s
- Associates Degree in Ag related Field
License/Certification: (Preferred but not required)
- CCA certification
- Drone Pilots license
- Valid driver’s license-Required
